The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office is organizing a charity boxing event on February 26, 2026, featuring local deputies and firefighters. This exciting competition, known as St. Johns County Fight Night (SJCFN), aims to raise funds for children in need within the community. Tickets for the event are now available for purchase, and a special Black Friday discount has been announced to encourage quick sales.

Taking place at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre, SJCFN promises to be an engaging evening for spectators. Participants will include personnel from the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office, St. Johns County Fire Rescue, and the St. Augustine Fire Department. The proceeds from ticket sales will benefit two significant initiatives: the Diamond of Dreams project and Special Olympics Florida.

The Diamond of Dreams initiative focuses on creating a new playground and baseball field specifically designed for children with special needs. This project aims to foster an inclusive environment where all children can thrive, regardless of their abilities. Meanwhile, Special Olympics Florida supports local athletes with intellectual disabilities, providing them with opportunities to participate in various sporting events. Both programs play a crucial role in promoting community engagement and empowerment.

For those interested in contributing beyond ticket purchases, sponsorship opportunities are available. Corporal Krissie Padgett serves as the contact person for potential sponsors wishing to participate in this charitable cause. Interested parties can reach her via email at [email protected] or by phone at (904) 907-2892.

As the event date approaches, the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office encourages local residents to support their community heroes while contributing to vital initiatives that enhance the lives of children and athletes in the area. This charity boxing event not only showcases the dedication of local first responders but also highlights the importance of creating inclusive environments for all.
