Community Celebrates Life of Kathleen Allen, 1953-2025

Kathleen Laurel “Kat, Kathy” Allen (Lunn) passed away peacefully on November 20, 2025, at her home in Centralia, Washington. She was 72 years old. Born in 1953 in San Francisco, California, Kathy dedicated her life to family and community.

Kathy spent her formative years in Centralia, graduating from Centralia High School in the Class of 1971. Her love for the community was evident in her many friendships, especially during her time as a cocktail waitress at Fairlanes Bowl, where she also enjoyed bowling with friends.

Her family was her pride and joy. Kathy is survived by her husband, David Allen; her daughter, Billie-Jo; her grandson, David; and her son-in-law, Corey. They remember her as a devoted family member who cherished every moment spent together.

Kathy’s death is felt deeply by those who knew her. She was preceded in death by her mother, her grandparents, her brother, Robert, and her beloved son, Robert. The loss of such a vibrant presence will leave a significant void in the lives of her loved ones.

A graveside service to honor Kathy will take place on December 5, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Mountain View Cemetery, located at 1113 Caveness Drive, Centralia, Washington. Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate her life, reflecting on the cherished memories that will continue to live on in their hearts.

Kathy Allen’s legacy of love and commitment to her family and friends is a testament to the impact she had on those around her. Her memory will bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.
