Park Na Rae’s Agency Fights Back Against Managers’ Claims
UPDATE: On December 5, 2023, Park Na Rae’s agency, N Park, officially rebuffed serious allegations of power abuse and bullying made by her former managers. This urgent statement comes as the comedian faces significant psychological distress following the sudden resignations of these employees and their escalating monetary demands.
According to N Park, the former managers, who worked for just over a year, left their positions and received severance pay but then began demanding additional compensation. Their requests reportedly escalated to the equivalent of 10% of the company’s total revenue from the previous year, with the total amount soaring into the hundreds of millions of won. The agency described these demands as “groundless claims” and expressed firm intentions to resist being manipulated by “one-sided demands.”
In a striking declaration, N Park announced plans to pursue legal action against the former managers, asserting that they will not tolerate unfounded allegations. The agency emphasized that they are currently in the process of “verifying the exact facts” surrounding the accusations of verbal abuse and power abuse directed at Park.
Moreover, the agency addressed claims regarding a delay in mandatory business registration as a pop culture and arts entity, attributing the issue to the former managers’ false reporting. N Park stated, “The responsibility belonged to the former managers,” making it clear that the current turmoil is a direct result of their actions.
As the situation develops, fans and followers of Park Na Rae are left to wonder how this legal battle will unfold and what the implications may be for both the comedian’s career and the entertainment industry in South Korea. Stay tuned for more updates as this story progresses.
