Beloved Matriarch Tosca Theresa Pardini Passes Away at 94

Tosca Theresa Pardini, a cherished matriarch and friend, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2025, at the age of 94, surrounded by her loving family. Her final moments were marked by the soothing sounds of Frank Sinatra‘s “Fly Me to the Moon,” as a single ray of sunlight illuminated her face, providing a poignant farewell.

Born on May 7, 1931, in San Francisco, California, Tosca embodied the spirit of her city throughout her life. She later resided in Ross, California, where she nurtured a life grounded in family, tradition, and an enduring sense of love. Tosca married her lifelong partner, Sergio Pardini, on February 17, 1952, at Saints Peter and Paul Church in North Beach. Their bond flourished for over sixty years, characterized by shared adventures and unwavering devotion.

Known for her warmth, elegance, and quiet strength, Tosca created an inviting home where all felt welcomed. She took great pride in her Italian heritage, passing down cherished traditions to her family. Her kindness and grace left a lasting impact on those fortunate enough to know her.

Traveling the world with Sergio, Tosca enjoyed life to the fullest. The couple’s passion for dance brought joy to every gathering, showcasing their vibrant personalities. Her flair for style and love for dressing beautifully added an extra touch of elegance to those around her. As an exceptional cook, she was particularly renowned for her lasagna and unforgettable lobster thermidor. Her keen eye for interior design allowed her to create comforting and aesthetically pleasing spaces wherever she went.

Tosca is survived by her three children: Mario and his wife Theresa Pardini, Paul and his wife Laurie Pardini, and Laura and her husband Shawn Ferjanec. She cherished her role as Nonna and formed close bonds with her grandchildren: Jenna Bottom and her husband Jeff Bottom, Daniel Pardini and his wife Carlie Pardini, Kimberly Horan and her husband Mike Horan, Lauren Baldwin and her husband Nick Baldwin, and Courtney Pardini. Her profound joy was further enriched by her great-grandchildren: Kennedy and London Bottom, Elle, Liam, and Jaxson Pardini, Noah and Quinn Horan, and Shelby and Barrett Baldwin.

The family remembers Tosca as a true class act, whose presence and spirit will be deeply missed. Though she has departed, her legacy of love, kindness, and family values will continue to resonate within her family.

A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m.November 22, 2025, at Valley Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel, located at 650 Bugeia Lane, Novato. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at www.stjude.org.
