Bloomberg Law and Courtroom Insight Join Forces to Enhance Legal Intelligence
Bloomberg Law has announced a collaboration with Courtroom Insight (CI) to enhance legal data and analytics for their shared enterprise customers. This partnership allows users to seamlessly access Bloomberg Law’s comprehensive docket data through CI’s innovative solutions, specifically the CI Directory and CI Matter Connector.
This integration, effective from November 20, 2025, aims to streamline legal research by enabling firms to conduct consolidated searches across Bloomberg Law’s docket data, CI’s structured data, and their own internal information. The collaboration is designed to help legal professionals uncover deeper insights, strengthen case strategies, and improve business development efforts.
By leveraging Bloomberg Law’s extensive docket information within CI’s platform, law firms can achieve several key benefits. They will be able to surface deeper matter intelligence by linking matter data with related legal professional data. This capability is expected to facilitate quicker decision-making by reducing the time spent searching through multiple systems.
Additionally, the collaboration will allow firms to showcase their expertise through automatically generated narratives. These customizable narratives can enhance responses to requests for proposals (RFPs), highlight litigation trends, and support predictive analytics, thus bolstering a firm’s competitive edge.
Bobby Puglia, Chief Product Officer at Bloomberg Industry Group, emphasized the importance of this collaboration, stating, “At Bloomberg Law, we are committed to helping legal professionals turn data into insight by integrating our industry-leading dockets data with Courtroom Insight’s platform. This integration provides firms with a more connected view of their matters, enabling faster analysis, smarter strategy, and stronger results for their clients.”
Mark Torchiana, CEO of Courtroom Insight, echoed this sentiment, sharing that their mission is to provide clear, structured, and connected data about legal professionals and matters. With the inclusion of Bloomberg Law’s docket data, he noted, clients can move beyond isolated information and make informed decisions that directly impact their business development and case strategies.
This collaboration represents a significant advancement in the tools available to legal professionals, underscoring the commitment of both Bloomberg Law and Courtroom Insight to deliver solutions that enhance productivity and effectiveness in legal practices.
