BNP Paribas Increases Stake in iShares J.P. Morgan USD ETF
BNP Paribas Financial Markets has expanded its holdings in the iShares J.P. Morgan USD Emerging Markets Bond ETF, acquiring an additional 33,203 shares during the second quarter of 2023. According to the firm’s latest 13F filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), BNP Paribas now owns a total of 3,144,433 shares, representing a 1.1% increase in its stake. As of the most recent filing, the firm holds approximately 2.16% of the ETF, valued at around $291.2 million.
This increase in ownership reflects a trend among institutional investors, with several prominent firms adjusting their positions in the fund. For instance, Migdal Insurance & Financial Holdings Ltd. established a new stake in the ETF worth approximately $42,000 during the same quarter. Private Wealth Asset Management LLC notably raised its stake by an impressive 2,481.8%, now owning 1,420 shares valued at $132,000 after purchasing an additional 1,365 shares.
Other firms have also made significant moves. Twin Peaks Wealth Advisors LLC acquired a new position worth around $204,000, while Harbor Capital Advisors Inc. increased its holdings by 133.7%, bringing its total to 2,274 shares valued at $211,000. Gen Wealth Partners Inc. grew its stake by 30.6% in the first quarter, now owning 2,803 shares worth $254,000. Overall, institutional investors now control a substantial 91.08% of the iShares J.P. Morgan USD Emerging Markets Bond ETF.
