Skyla Sisco, Beloved Montana Resident, Passes After Cancer Fight
Skyla Sisco, a cherished member of the Malta community, passed away on November 13, 2025, after a courageous six-year battle with breast cancer. She was 50 years old and remembered not only for her strength during her illness but also for her vibrant spirit and dedication to family and friends.
Born on June 10, 1975, in Malta, Montana, Skyla was the youngest child of Dan and Marla Sisco. She grew up in a close-knit family, joining her older brother, Paul Sisco. Skyla’s childhood in Malta shaped her values and her deep sense of community, which she carried throughout her life.
Skyla’s determination was evident in her battle against cancer, as she faced the numerous challenges of her illness with grace and positivity. Friends and family often remark on her unwavering optimism, which served as a source of inspiration to those around her. Despite her health struggles, she maintained strong connections with her loved ones, often prioritizing family gatherings and community events.
As news of her passing spread, many in Malta expressed their sorrow and shared memories of the impact Skyla had on their lives.
