Arc Beverly Unveils Luxurious Coworking Space and Social Club
Arc Beverly has officially opened its doors at 9800 Wilshire Blvd in Beverly Hills, introducing a unique blend of luxury coworking and social club experiences. This expansive facility caters to professionals seeking an alternative to traditional office settings, offering a modern environment designed for work and leisure.
The project is managed by Good City Studio, a Philadelphia-based design and development firm founded by David Gutstadt and Amanda Potter. The duo has a rich history in developing high-end lifestyle brands, including Equinox Hotels and notable membership clubs such as Ballers and Fitler Club. Gutstadt emphasizes that Arc Beverly distinguishes itself as a “workspace-focused club,” prioritizing private suites and collaborative areas for its members.
Arc Beverly spans 65,000 square feet of both indoor and outdoor spaces, featuring collaborative work areas, private offices, conference rooms, and two rooftop terraces. It has transitioned ownership from the previous operator, Spring Place, and has since undergone significant renovations to enhance the member experience. Some of these updates are still in progress as the club accommodates new members, including a tech company that will utilize a podcast studio.
One of the standout features of Arc Beverly is its revamped food and beverage program, curated by culinary director Victor Totoris. With a focus on quality, Totoris, who has a background at several esteemed restaurants in the area, has developed a menu that highlights his Argentine heritage. He has made notable changes by eliminating seed oils from the kitchen and crafting all aioli in-house. The menu includes dishes like a chicken milanesa sandwich and skirt steak served with chimichurri, showcasing elements of Argentinian cuisine.
Arc Beverly is positioned as a versatile venue, not only for its members but for the wider Los Angeles community. It has quickly become a sought-after location for significant events, from the NBA All-Star Weekend to the Oscars. The club can accommodate everything from intimate dinners to larger events such as film screenings and rooftop yoga classes for up to 150 people. With major upcoming events like the 2026 World Cup, 2027 Super Bowl, and 2028 Olympic Games on the horizon, Arc Beverly is poised to host a variety of high-profile gatherings.
To enhance the member experience, Arc Beverly has appointed Florence Granteral as vice president of club experience and operations. Granteral brings extensive experience from the Los Angeles membership club scene, including her previous role at NeueHouse Club Venice. She describes Arc Beverly as a “business incubator” and “brand accelerator,” catering to a diverse range of industries including beauty, fashion, entertainment, finance, and technology.
Despite the closure of several premium coworking spaces in Los Angeles, including NeueHouse locations earlier this year, Arc Beverly has seen a surge in membership interest. The club’s owner, private equity firm Gores Group, has adapted by allocating some of its third-floor offices to coworking tenants as demand grows. Recent reports indicate a 50% spike in inquiries following the closures of competitor clubs.
The membership structure at Arc Beverly includes four tiers, with monthly rates starting at $300. Members enjoy access to the club’s restaurant, bar, rooftop lounges, coworking spaces, and various cultural and wellness programs. The top membership tier offers 24/7 access to the facility. Additionally, all members benefit from reciprocal privileges at partner clubs, including Sonato and Spring Place New York, granting access to over 70 clubs worldwide.
As Arc Beverly continues to evolve, Amanda Potter expresses her vision for the club. She aims to create a space where individuals can work, network, and recharge, emphasizing that it is a work in progress. With cosmetic and functional improvements underway, including wellness activities, Arc Beverly is set to become a cornerstone of the Beverly Hills community for both work and social engagement.
