Katie Nilsen, Vice President of Development & Strategy at E-J Electric Installation Co., has been appointed as the President of the Board of Directors for Professional Women in Construction New York (PWC NY) for the year 2026. This announcement, made on November 12, 2025, positions Nilsen to lead the organization in its mission to advance, support, and connect women and diverse professionals within the architecture, engineering, construction (AEC), and real estate sectors.

In her new role, Nilsen is set to shape the chapter’s programming and initiatives while fostering partnerships aimed at promoting equity and opportunity in the industry. “I am honored to take on the role of Board President for PWC New York,” Nilsen stated. “This organization has been a powerful force in creating opportunities and elevating women leaders in construction and related industries.
