A new documentary titled “The Age of Disclosure” claims that former U.S. President George H.W. Bush was aware of extraterrestrial beings allegedly making contact with humans at a secretive air base in New Mexico. The film, which premiered on Amazon Prime on March 15, 2024, features interviews suggesting that Bush communicated with a federal official about an incident that reportedly occurred in 1964.

In the documentary, astrophysicist Eric Davis, a former scientific adviser to the now-disbanded Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program (AATIP), recounts a private conversation with Bush. According to Davis, Bush stated that an alien had made contact with military personnel at Holloman Air Force Base in Otero County. “One of them landed on the tarmac and a non-human entity deboarded the craft that landed and interacted with uniformed Air Force and civilian CIA personnel,” Davis claims. He adds that when Bush sought more information, he was told he did not have a “need-to-know.”

Davis asserts that these conversations took place after Bush’s presidency, specifically in 2003. Notably, Bush was a decorated former naval aviator and served as director of the CIA from 1976 to 1977. Despite the weight of these assertions, Davis did not provide any details about the alleged alien aircraft or material evidence to substantiate his claims.

Documentary Insights and Government Programs

Director Dan Farah conducted interviews with 34 high-ranking officials from the U.S. government, military, and intelligence sectors, focusing on individuals who professed to have direct knowledge of Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAPs). The documentary highlights a purported top-secret government operation concerning UAP retrieval known as the “Legacy Program.” However, these officials did not present new physical evidence to support claims regarding the existence of aliens or UAPs.

Davis further suggests that alien bodies were recovered in Russia in 1988, following the wreckage of a large tic-tac-shaped UAP. Another notable interviewee, Hal Puthoff, a former AATIP member and quantum physicist, indicated that multiple types of extraterrestrials exist. “The bodies recovered are not all the same type,” he stated, though he refrained from providing specifics. “Whoever it is — they’re here,” he added. “And they’ve been operating here for a long time.”

The Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program was initiated by Congress in 2007 under the late Senator Harry Reid. It was an unclassified but not publicly disclosed initiative aimed at studying UFOs, now recognized as UAPs. The program operated within the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) from 2007 to 2012, with a funding allocation of approximately $22 million over five years.

While the documentary raises intriguing questions about the potential existence of extraterrestrial life and UAPs, it is important to note that the claims presented lack corroborating evidence. As discussions surrounding these topics continue to evolve, the impact of such revelations on public perception and governmental transparency remains to be seen.
