Patricia Raftis, Beloved Community Member, Passes Away at 79
Patricia “Pat” Irene Card Raftis, aged 79, of Sharpsburg, Georgia, passed away peacefully in her sleep on November 21, 2025. Born in Inglewood, California, on September 24, 1946, she leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth that touched many lives.
Born to Harold Leland and Gloria Zane Card, Patricia grew up in California before moving to Georgia, where she became an integral part of her community. Her caring nature and dedication to family and friends were hallmarks of her life.
Patricia’s life was marked by her strong relationships and her commitment to making a difference in the lives of those around her. She often volunteered her time and resources to various causes, embodying the spirit of community service.
Her family has chosen to honor her memory with a service, which will be conducted under the care of Mowell Funeral Home in Peachtree City, Georgia. Details about the service will be shared by the family in the coming days.
