Raven Reflects on Regrets and Mental Health in New Documentary
In a candid interview, professional wrestler Raven discussed his life regrets and the importance of mental health during a recent appearance on the Wrestling Observer Radio. The conversation coincides with the promotion of his upcoming documentary, Nevermore: The Raven Effect, which is set to premiere on Amazon Prime on November 18, 2025.
When asked about his regrets, Raven spoke openly, stating, “Anybody who says they don’t have regrets is full of s**t. I got millions of regrets.” Although he expressed contentment with his current life, he emphasized that he would have sought help for his mental health issues much earlier. Raven attributed his struggles to insecurity, noting that it often manifests as egotism. “I would have went to a psychiatrist or psychologist earlier probably,” he admitted.
Raven underscored the therapeutic value of speaking to a mental health professional, describing it as “liberating” to share one’s deepest fears and challenges. He advocated for everyone to consider therapy, stating, “It’s very liberating to talk to a therapist and to be able to bear your soul and to offer up all your inner demons and look for a way to get around them instead of just suffering with them.”
Documentary Highlights and Wrestling Insights
The interview also covered various topics related to the wrestling community, including the upcoming 2025 WON Hall of Fame Class. This year’s inductees include notable figures such as CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, and Sabu, among others.
