Shirley was born in Lebanon and was the cherished daughter of Ruth E. Blessing and Earnest W. Blessing. She was the beloved wife of John Richard Gamble Sr., who preceded her in death, along with their son John Richard Jr.. Her family includes three daughters: Barbara Deck (Douglas), Donna Neider (Craig), and Deborah Risser (Brent), along with nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

Shirley’s passions extended beyond family; she enjoyed spending time at the beach and had a special fondness for children and dogs. Her playful and goofy nature created countless memories filled with laughter and love. Friends and family will remember her for always putting others first, often prioritizing their feelings over her own.
