UPDATE: Denver is officially aglow as the 2025 holiday lights season kicks off, bringing joy and wonder to residents and visitors alike. The city is ready to showcase a stunning variety of festive displays, from enchanting residential showcases to mesmerizing public exhibitions.
Just announced: local favorites include homes on Washington Street and in Highlands Ranch, where creative light displays have become a beloved tradition. Families can now enjoy extravagant decorations, including a life-sized Chewbacca in a Santa hat at one Highlands Ranch residence, which also boasts a cocoa stand to support local cancer charities on Friday and Saturday nights.
In Broomfield, one remarkable home features 20,000 Christmas lights synchronized to holiday classics, creating a dazzling spectacle for all ages. This popular attraction is drawing crowds eager to experience the magic of the season.
For those seeking a unique adventure, Christmas in Color at Red Rocks offers an immersive drive-through experience with vibrant tunnels of light. Guests are encouraged to secure tickets in advance for this limited-time event.
The Denver Zoo is once again transforming into a winter wonderland, featuring over three million lights across its eighty acres. This annual light show remains a favorite, inspiring awe in people of all ages. Tickets are available now for this beloved holiday tradition.
Additionally, the Denver Botanic Gardens celebrates its 40th annual Blossoms of Light showcase, illuminating the gardens with stunning displays and immersive installations. A visit here promises to enchant and delight visitors.
