Keegan Shackford Named CAA Special Teams Player of the Week
UPDATE: In a thrilling finish, William & Mary kicker Keegan Shackford was just honored as the CAA Special Teams Player of the Week after a spectacular performance that helped secure a 30-27 overtime victory against Campbell on Saturday.
Shackford’s standout moment came with just 1 second remaining in regulation, when he nailed a game-tying 38-yard field goal. He also made two other crucial field goals from 41 and 47 yards in the first half, showcasing his skill under pressure. This week marks a significant achievement for Shackford, who has successfully converted at least one field goal in six consecutive games this season, boasting an impressive record of 8 for 12 and 32 of 33 PATs.
