Rock & Roll Night Hits ‘Dancing With the Stars’ on Nov. 4
URGENT UPDATE: The excitement is building for Dancing With the Stars Season 34 as it gears up for the highly anticipated Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Night on November 4. Following a streak of injuries that impacted the Halloween episode, this special night promises thrilling performances and a star-studded lineup.
ABC has just announced key details for the upcoming episode, which will feature Flavor Flav as a guest judge alongside returning favorites Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough, and Bruno Tonioli. The night will kick off with an electrifying opening number to “Pour Some Sugar On Me” by Def Leppard and “Fight The Power” by Public Enemy, choreographed by Britt Stewart.
Expect a vibrant tour number to “Hey Ya!” by Outkast, led by Mandy Moore, alongside a troupe dance to “Higher Ground” by Stevie Wonder. This Rock & Roll Hall of Fame-themed night will see contestants perform in teams, with cohosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough joining the fun.
Team Kool, captained by Andy Richter, includes Robert Irwin, Alix Earle, and Elaine Hendrix, and will dance to “Celebration” by Kool & the Gang. Meanwhile, Team Chicago, led by Ribeiro and captain Danielle Fishel, will perform to “25 or 6 to 4” by Chicago.
Viewers can also look forward to standout individual performances:
– Olympic gold medalist Jordan Chiles will dance a jazz routine to “River Deep – Mountain High” by Ike and Tina Turner.
– Social media sensation Dylan Efron takes on a paso doble to “Livin’ On a Prayer” by Bon Jovi.
– Fishel will showcase a contemporary routine set to “Dream On” by Aerosmith.
– Elaine Hendrix will perform a Viennese waltz to “What the World Needs Now Is Love” by Dionne Warwick.
– Robert Irwin will deliver a paso doble to “Icky Thump” by The White Stripes.
– Comedian Andy Richter will perform a contemporary dance to “God Only Knows” by The Beach Boys.
