Prince Andrew Allegedly Brought Prostitutes to Buckingham Palace
Reports have emerged indicating that Prince Andrew, the former Duke of York, allegedly brought prostitutes into Buckingham Palace during his time as a royal. According to historian Andrew Lownie, who authored the book “Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York,” these activities were known to Queen Elizabeth II, yet remained largely concealed. Lownie conveyed these details in an interview with NewsNation’s Paula Froelich, asserting that the former prince regularly invited sex workers into the royal residence.
Lownie stated, “He brought in prostitutes to Buckingham Palace for years. It was done on a regular basis.” He further claimed that complaints from palace staff regarding these incidents fell on deaf ears. “The security that complained were told, ‘If you would like to go back on the beat in Brixton, you have that choice, but otherwise you keep quiet,’” he explained. This alleged misconduct reportedly persisted due to Andrew’s favored status within the royal family, allowing him to evade accountability.
As the scandal unfolds, former palace employees are beginning to share their experiences regarding Prince Andrew, who has been divorced from Sarah Ferguson since 1996. Lownie mentioned that he is receiving increasing information from individuals who previously felt intimidated to speak out. “They are no longer scared to talk or come out and tell the world what really happened now that Andrew has been removed from power and is no longer protected by the Queen,” he noted.
In a related revelation, Lownie discussed a claim that Andrew had as many as 40 prostitutes delivered to his hotel in Thailand. These allegations come amid a broader investigation into Andrew’s connections with the late financier Jeffrey Epstein, who faced numerous accusations regarding sex trafficking. One of Epstein’s victims, Virginia Giuffre, alleged in her memoir, “Nobody’s Girl,” that she was forced to engage in sexual activities with Andrew on three occasions, including when she was just 17 years old.
On November 3, 2022, Andrew was stripped of his royal titles and honors by his brother, King Charles III, following the mounting allegations against him. In a statement made shortly before the release of Giuffre’s memoir, Andrew said, “In discussion with The King, and my immediate and wider family, we have concluded the continued accusations about me distract from the work of His Majesty and the Royal Family. I have decided, as I always have, to put my duty to my family and country first.”
As these revelations continue to surface, the royal family faces increasing scrutiny regarding the actions and behavior of its members. Buckingham Palace has been contacted for a response to these allegations, but a statement has not yet been issued. The implications of these claims are significant, as they challenge the longstanding image of the monarchy and raise questions about accountability within the royal household.
