Korean Rapper D.Ark Arrested for Drug Use Just Days After Comeback
UPDATE: Korean rapper D.Ark has been arrested on suspicion of drug use and distribution, merely three days after the release of his latest album. Authorities at the Mokpo Police Station executed an arrest warrant for D.Ark, who is under investigation for violating South Korea’s Narcotics Control Act.
The arrest has sent shockwaves through the music community, as fans were celebrating D.Ark’s return just days ago. His new album, released on October 23, features tracks such as “1010,” “Girlfriend,” and “Sorry for Cheating.” Now, the excitement surrounding his comeback has quickly turned into concern and disbelief.
According to police reports, investigators believe D.Ark was involved in both the use and distribution of marijuana. However, sources close to the investigation have indicated that the rapper has denied all allegations during questioning.
D.Ark, of Korean-Chinese descent from Yanbian, first gained fame through his participation in Mnet’s popular shows Show Me The Money 777 and High School Rapper 4. He later signed with PSY‘s agency, P Nation, but his contract ended after less than a year. Since then, he has been working with a smaller management company, Gazplan.
As the investigation unfolds, fans and the public are left wondering about the implications of this arrest on D.Ark’s career and personal life. No official statement has been released from his agency at this time, leaving many eager for more details.
This developing story raises urgent questions about the future of the artist and the impact on his fanbase. Stay tuned for updates as this situation continues to evolve.
