Mariana González Embraces Pregnancy as Vicente Fernández Jr. Celebrates

Mariana González is currently experiencing a transformative phase in her life as she eagerly anticipates the arrival of her daughter with husband Vicente Fernández Jr. The couple is preparing for the baby, whose expected due date is February 17, by adopting a calmer lifestyle and reducing their travel and professional commitments. González expressed her desire to focus on her family and ensure a peaceful environment during these final weeks of her pregnancy.

During a recent interview on the talk show La Mesa Caliente, González shared insights into how Fernández Jr. is reacting to the impending arrival of their child. “He is fascinated; he is in love with this,” she said, highlighting his excitement about becoming a father once again. Her husband’s joy serves as a source of motivation for her, as she noted, “Honestly, me too, because I see him so excited, and it makes me so emotional to see him so happy.”

As the holidays approach, the couple plans to celebrate Christmas and New Year’s in a low-key manner. They will spend part of the festive season in Texas and the remainder at González’s parents’ home. “No traveling, none of that, everything very calm, not even the beach,” she stated regarding their holiday plans. Prioritizing family time, González aims to stay close to home and engage in less physically demanding activities.

The expectant mother also revealed some of her unique pregnancy cravings, which have surprised her. “I said, that’s good, and literally now I see tamales and buñuelos and I’m like, good thing the baby craves everything salty,” she joked, adding that she has been craving mango, cucumber, and other sour flavors. In addition to her cravings, she emphasized that she is taking better care of herself than ever, focusing on both her physical and emotional well-being in preparation for the baby’s arrival.

González concluded the interview with a heartfelt message, expressing her hopes for a healthy delivery. “The truth is that we are happy,” she stated, emphasizing that their baby girl is long-awaited and will be surrounded by love. With the due date approaching, both González and Fernández Jr. are diligently preparing their home to welcome the newest member of the Fernández family.
