Significant changes are in store for the reality series *Married at First Sight* as it prepares for its upcoming Season 20. Three well-known experts—Dr. Pepper Schwartz, Pastor Cal Roberson, and Dr. Pia Holec—will not return for the new season, as confirmed by Peacock. This transition marks a new chapter for the franchise, which will introduce a fresh panel of experts.

In a statement to *Variety*, Kinetic Content founder and CEO Chris Coelen expressed enthusiasm for the shift. “We’re thrilled to be embarking on a brand new chapter of the *MAFS* journey with our partners at Peacock,” he said. Coelen acknowledged the contributions of the departing experts, stating, “Dr. Pepper has been with us from the beginning and Pastor Cal joined us shortly thereafter; their unwavering wisdom, insight, and passion has been a guiding light for us throughout the seasons.”

Each departing expert shared their reflections on their time with the show. Dr. Pepper Schwartz, who has been with *Married at First Sight* since its inception in 2014, conveyed her pride in the franchise’s achievements. “As I step away, I do so with immense pride in what this franchise has accomplished and deep confidence in its future,” she remarked, expressing gratitude for her experiences.

Pastor Cal Roberson also reflected on his departure, thanking the participants for their trust during pivotal moments in their lives. He described his exit as the beginning of a new chapter, stating, “Your courage, honesty, and willingness to believe in the process reminded me time and again why this work matters.”

Dr. Pia Holec shared her sentiments about stepping back from the series to focus on her family. “I genuinely loved my time on *Married at First Sight*, and working alongside franchise OGs turned friends, like Dr. Pepper and Pastor Cal. I’m proud of the time we’ve spent with each person who so bravely took this step in finding love,” she noted.

The departures are part of a larger strategic shift for *Married at First Sight*, which is poised to debut its 20th season in 2026. As the series evolves, the introduction of new experts aims to bring fresh perspectives and insights to the show, building on its established legacy.

As fans eagerly await the new season, the production team is optimistic about the future of the franchise. With a commitment to fostering love and connection among participants, *Married at First Sight* continues to be a notable presence in the reality television landscape.
