Riley Gilbreath: A Rising Star in Bluegrass
Riley Gilbreath is a talented traditional bluegrass musician whose influences span the genres. His inspirations include renowned artists such as Ralph and Carter Stanley, J.D. Crowe and The New South, and Keith Whitley. Having begun his musical journey at the age of 12, Riley’s passion for the banjo ignited when he received a loaner instrument from the Bluegrass Heritage Foundation.

Riley’s achievements include winning the Texas State Banjo Championship at the young age of 15 and later securing the SPBGMA International Band Championship in Nashville, TN, when he was just 21. His skill and dedication to bluegrass music have positioned him as a notable figure in the genre.
