Exciting Events in Loveland This Weekend: Theatre, Art, and More

A vibrant array of events awaits residents and visitors in the Loveland area on Friday, October 17. From theatrical performances to Halloween-themed activities, the weekend promises entertainment for all ages.
Theatre and Musical Performances
The stage is set at the Northern Colorado Performing Arts for “The SpongeBob Musical — Youth Edition,” running from 7-9 p.m. on Friday and 2-4 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, the Loveland Opera Theatre presents “The Sound of Music” at the Rialto Theater Center. Showtimes are 7 p.m. on Friday and 2 p.m. on Saturday. Halloween and Community Activities
As Halloween approaches, several spooky events are taking place. The Find Your Fright Haunted House operates from 6-11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays until October 31. Located at 333 E. Fourth St., tickets are $15 for children under 11 and $20 for those aged 12 and older, available only at the door.
For those looking for a more immersive experience, the Creepy Walk in the Woods at Savage Woods invites participants from 7-11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. This event is not recommended for children under 11 and costs $30 per person, with tickets available at the venue.
Additionally, the Holiday Arts and Crafts Sale takes place at the Backbone Special Event Center from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday. Admission is free, and the event features local artisans and crafters.
Community health services are also available this weekend. The Colorado Mission of Mercy provides free dental services on Friday and Saturday at The Ranch. Doors open at 6 a.m. and services include fillings, extractions, cleanings, and some limited denture options.
For those who prefer a more relaxed evening, Pub Quiz Night will be held from 6:30-9 p.m. at the Big Thompson Brewery, while the Texas Hold’em game begins at 7 p.m. at Boise Tavern.
In Fort Collins, the Debut Theatre Company will showcase “Nancy Drew: Detective” at the Lincoln Center at 7 p.m. on Friday and 1 p.m. on Saturday, running through October 25.
