ViaPath Technologies Launches Veterans Pathway Initiative for Justice-Involved Veterans
ViaPath Technologies has unveiled the Veterans Pathway initiative, aimed at supporting justice-involved veterans across the United States. The launch coincides with Veterans Day, November 11, 2025, and is a collaboration with Edovo, a leader in corrections-based digital education. This program will deliver tailored educational, vocational, and wellness resources to veterans through ViaPath’s proprietary tablet platform.
Addressing Unique Challenges for Veterans
The Veterans Pathway program is specifically designed to meet the unique challenges faced by veterans in the justice system. It provides specialized educational and vocational content that aids in their transition after release, alongside mental health and wellness resources tailored to their distinct needs. Additionally, the initiative includes reentry and life skills programs to foster stability and promote independent living.
Camila Gonzalez, Director of Education & Reentry at ViaPath Technologies, emphasized the importance of this initiative, stating, “As part of our ongoing commitment to expanding educational access and wellness resources to support successful reentry, ViaPath Technologies has partnered with Edovo to make these foundational offerings freely available to our incarcerated veterans using the ViaPath platform.” She added that the program reflects a commitment to restorative justice, providing those who served the country with essential tools for meaningful growth.
Innovative Technology Supporting Education
ViaPath’s tablets are designed to enhance the educational experience for individuals in correctional facilities. The intuitive design allows secure access to the Edovo platform, which features educational courses, communication tools, and wellness resources. The Veterans Pathway program is set to be deployed across correctional facilities in 41 states, with over 30,000 courses available to users, resulting in significant engagement levels.
Since its implementation, the program has launched at 617 sites, with plans for expansion. Notably, it has achieved impressive statistics, including:
- Over 2.9 million courses completed
- 772,040 unique learners
- 32,426,202 total learning hours
“Veterans Pathway is the result of listening to the needs of our nation’s veterans and responding with high-quality, relevant programming,” said Acacia Graddy-Gamel, VP of Product at Edovo. “This dedicated resource honors their service while supporting their futures.”
In addition to the Veterans Pathway initiative, ViaPath Technologies maintains a strong commitment to supporting incarcerated veterans through ongoing outreach and advocacy. The organization collaborates with corrections partners, community organizations, and veteran service providers, continuously seeking ways to enhance the well-being of veterans in custody.
