Billboards in Northern Kentucky Demand Release of Epstein Files
Anti-trafficking organization World Without Exploitation has launched a campaign in Northern Kentucky, featuring billboards that urge local leaders to release the files associated with the late sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. This initiative coincides with a national effort to obtain U.S. Department of Justice documents linked to Epstein, as well as an upcoming vote on a discharge petition filed by Congressman Thomas Massie to facilitate the release of these files.
The billboards, which have been strategically placed throughout Massie’s district, include a prominent display near exit 4 off I-471, directing traffic toward Bellevue and Newport. One billboard states, “Courage is Contagious. Release ALL the Epstein Files.” The initiative aims to highlight the need for transparency and accountability regarding the cases of Epstein and his associates, including Ghislaine Maxwell.
In a statement, Lauren Hersh, national director of World Without Exploitation, emphasized the importance of congressional leadership in this matter. “We’re calling on our members of Congress to please show the leadership, humanity, and courage the American people deserve,” she said. Hersh pointed out that the focus should not be solely on high-profile names but rather on the survivors of Epstein’s crimes, who have long sought justice and access to information that has deeply affected their lives.
Survivor and policy expert Liz Stein, who has been directly impacted by Epstein and Maxwell’s actions, echoed these sentiments. She asserted, “This is not a political issue, but rather a crime. Those of us directly impacted and harmed by the crimes of Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell deserve justice and for the world to know our story.” Stein called on elected officials to demonstrate courage and support the survivors in their call for the full release of the Epstein files.
The push for transparency around Epstein’s case has gained traction in recent months. Advocates argue that releasing the files is crucial not only for justice but also for informing the public about the scale and nature of the trafficking network associated with Epstein. The ongoing campaign underscores a growing demand for accountability and a commitment to addressing the systemic issues surrounding human trafficking.
As the vote on Congressman Massie’s petition approaches, the visibility of this campaign in Northern Kentucky serves as a reminder of the broader national dialogue surrounding human trafficking and the need for legislative action to protect victims and survivors. The call for the release of Epstein’s files resonates with many, as it represents a crucial step toward transparency and justice for those affected by his crimes.
