Flyysoulja, a member of the rap duo Island Boys, has checked into rehabilitation to address substance abuse issues following a drug-induced psychotic episode. The decision comes months after he was detained under the Baker Act in Florida, which allows for the involuntary mental health evaluation of individuals deemed a danger to themselves or others.

In an interview with TMZ, Flyysoulja expressed his commitment to improving his health and well-being. He stated, “I’m going to detox right now to get the help I need. I can’t wait. I’ve been here before, but this time I’m going to take it a lot more seriously.” He characterized this moment as “good news” and a “very powerful moment” in his life.

Last year, Flyysoulja experienced a psychotic episode after reportedly using multiple substances. Police were called to the scene, where they initially mistook nail polish for blood and feared for his safety. Following the incident, he acknowledged the need for help, clarifying, “I have a substance issue — not a mental problem.”

This time, Flyysoulja is determined to emerge stronger from his treatment. His decision to seek help highlights the ongoing challenge of substance abuse and mental health within the entertainment industry.

As he embarks on this journey, fans and supporters are hopeful for his recovery, recognizing the significance of his commitment to personal growth.
