RapidAI and Saudi Health Holdings Launch AI in 20 Health Clusters
RapidAI, a leader in Deep Clinical AI and intelligent imaging, has entered into a significant partnership with Saudi Health Holdings Company (HHC), the largest healthcare provider in the Middle East. This collaboration will see the deployment of deep clinical AI across HHC’s extensive network of 20 health clusters in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, aiming to enhance outcomes in areas such as neurology, cardiology, vascular health, oncology, and orthopedics.
Transforming Healthcare Delivery
The partnership is a cornerstone of HHC’s digital transformation strategy, which aligns with the objectives of the Health Sector Transformation Program, part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 initiative. This program seeks to improve healthcare quality and accessibility while emphasizing preventive care through innovative technologies.
Nasser Al Huqbani, CEO of HHC, stated, “Partnering with RapidAI aligns perfectly with our goal to transform and innovate on how care is delivered across our hospitals, from stroke to cardiac, vascular, and oncology, and to localize these capabilities for the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.”
Advanced AI Capabilities
At the core of this initiative is the Rapid EnterpriseTM Platform, which utilizes RapidAI’s deep clinical AI to enhance clinical decision-making. This technology extends beyond simple alert systems by offering advanced characterization, quantification, visualization, and longitudinal tracking of various disease states.
The platform leverages sophisticated foundation models trained on multimodal clinical data, integrating imaging, reports, and structured clinical data from real-world patient cases. This comprehensive approach enables healthcare professionals to make faster, more informed decisions, fostering scalable, data-driven innovation across HHC’s healthcare environment.
Currently, the Rapid EnterpriseTM Platform is recognized as the most clinically validated AI platform in healthcare, utilized by over 2,500 hospitals across more than 100 countries.
To facilitate the implementation of this platform across HHC’s clusters, support will be provided by Ascend Solutions, a local digital solutions provider. This partnership will ensure tailored operational services, training, and ongoing optimization of the AI systems.
Karim Karti, CEO of RapidAI, emphasized the importance of this collaboration, stating, “Together with HHC, we’re building the infrastructure for country-wide AI-enabled care that reflects the vision and ambition of Vision 2030.”
The introduction of deep clinical AI in Saudi Arabia marks a significant advancement in healthcare delivery, aligning with global trends towards the integration of technology in medical settings. As this initiative unfolds, it holds the promise of transforming patient care and outcomes throughout the Kingdom.
