UCL Research Reveals Gene’s Major Role in Alzheimer’s Risk
A recent analysis conducted by researchers at University College London (UCL) has unveiled that variants in a single gene, known as APOE, are linked to the vast majority of Alzheimer’s disease cases. The study suggests that without this gene’s contribution, more than 90% of Alzheimer’s cases might not occur.
