UPDATE: The Buffalo Bills have just announced a groundbreaking shift in their broadcasting strategy, confirming they will produce and distribute all radio broadcasts in-house starting in 2026. This move marks the end of a 14-year partnership with WGR-AM 550 and its Rochester affiliate 950-AM The Fan.

Effective immediately, fans will no longer find Bills broadcasts on traditional radio. Instead, they will transition to exclusive streaming on BuffaloBills.com and the Bills app, a significant change aimed at enhancing fan engagement. The decision reflects a broader trend in media consumption, emphasizing the need to adapt to modern delivery methods.

In a statement, Pete Guelli, the Bills’ Chief Operating Officer, highlighted the organization’s commitment to evolving alongside its audience: “The delivery of media content has changed dramatically over the years. We believe the model of in-house production, distribution, and sales will better position the organization to provide access to our fans as well as allow us to further engage with the local business community.”

Additionally, the popular program “One Bills Live,” currently airing weekdays from 1 to 3 p.m., will also shift to in-house production starting on February 9. The show will continue to be simulcast on MSG Western New York, ensuring fans still have access to their favorite content. Co-hosts Chris Brown and Steve Tasker will remain at the helm, providing continuity for loyal listeners.

This transition not only underscores the Bills’ forward-thinking approach but also places the team in a stronger position to interact directly with fans and the local business community. As the media landscape evolves, the Bills’ decision reflects a strategic pivot that could redefine how sports teams engage with their audience.

Stay tuned for more updates as the Bills prepare for this significant change in their broadcasting approach. Fans can expect more interactive and accessible content directly from the team, marking a new era in Buffalo Bills media.
