Maj. Gen. Timothy Sejba to Address Space Innovation at Florida Tech

Maj. Gen. Timothy Sejba, a prominent figure in U.S. space operations, will deliver a public lecture at the Florida Institute of Technology on February 19, 2024. This event, part of the esteemed F. Alan Smith Distinguished Lecture Series, will focus on the theme of innovation within the U.S. Space Force.

The lecture titled “Three Waves of Space Force-Led Innovation: Transportation To, In, and From Space” is set to take place from 17:30 to 19:00 at the Gleason Performing Arts Center on Florida Tech’s Melbourne campus. This engagement is designed to provide insights into how the U.S. Space Force is spearheading advancements in launch capabilities, on-orbit operations, and return logistics—elements that are increasingly vital to national security and the growth of commercial spaceflight.

Maj. Gen. Sejba, who previously commanded the Space Training and Readiness Command (STARCOM) and currently serves as the Special Assistant to the Vice Chief of Space Operations, will discuss the significant implications of these innovations.
