This extraordinary footage, obtained from the Chandra X-ray Observatory, showcases the cosmic debris resulting from an explosion located 17,000 light-years away from Earth. The fastest fragments of debris are racing through space at nearly 14 million miles per hour, which is approximately two percent of the speed of light.
